Lodge News
Summer 2010 On the 12th June Arundel Lodge held a Race Night fund raising event with family and friends at the Scout Hall in Canada Road, Arundel. It was a well attended, successful and fun filled evening. We managed to raise £400 for the Help Sophie Walk campaign. Sophie Nugent, a Cerebral Palsy sufferer from Angmering, needed to raise £40000 to go to America for a life changing operation and enable her to walk pain-free, on her return she will need ongoing physiotherapy and care. We also raised £200 for the 3rd Arundel (St. Nicholas) Girl Guides. On the evening of the 29th June we presented two cheques, the first for £400 was presented to Sophie and her family to help with her ongoing treatment and the second for £200 was presented to the Girl Guides.
