Summer 2010
On the 12th June Arundel Lodge held a Race Night fund raising event with
family and friends at the Scout Hall in Canada Road, Arundel. It was a well
attended, successful and fun filled evening. We managed to raise £400 for
the Help Sophie Walk campaign.
Sophie Nugent, a Cerebral Palsy sufferer from Angmering, needed to raise
£40000 to go to America for a life changing operation and enable her to
walk pain-free, on her return she will need ongoing physiotherapy and care.
We also raised £200 for the 3rd Arundel (St. Nicholas) Girl Guides.
On the evening of the 29th June we presented two cheques, the first for
£400 was presented to Sophie and her family to help with her ongoing
treatment and the second for £200 was presented to the Girl Guides.

May 2012
On the 1st of May 2012 W. Bro. Mike Dunne presented cheques of £500 to Ali Unstead of the Chestnut
Tree House Appeal, and £500 to Diana Levantine of the Snowdrop Trust on behalf of W.Bro. David
Barber in whose year as master this sum was collected from social occasions.
Mike also presented a cheque for £750 Raised during W. Bro. Martin Sallis’ year as master from social
occasions to Sue Caslake of the Help For Heroes Trust Making £1750 in total presented to local
charities On behalf of the Arundel Masonic lodge for 2010 and 2011.

May 2013
On the 9th of May 2013 W. Bro. Mike Dunne presented a cheque for £1000 to the Ferring Country
Centre, this sum was collected from social occasions and other events during Mike’s year as Master.

On the 10th November 2019, W.Bro John Storey laid a wreath on behalf of the Lodge at the memorial in
Arundel during the Remembrance Sunday service.
